I refuse to register for a news website that has been free since its inception. Actually I/We already have a print subscription to it so I feel no need to give them information that they already have available to them in some fashion or another. Actually I have been getting more and more pissed off with the shitty reporting that the Boston Globe has in its pages, which in turn has driven me to go to other newspapers such as The Times (London not NY) and various other media outlets.
I considered registering with a false name/information but it was too much trouble to go through at the time.
So at SUA we have this computerized hospital clearance system which lets us see the current status of hospitals so we can tell where to bring our patients. There is a field for the type of diversion that they might be going on and a field for any applicable comments. I got the following IM last night:
MI: hmm, i think the hospitals are bored - Upstate's message on the coral says "Accept no substitutes"
...
...
MI: community just changed theirs to say "More than medicine."
I suppose you'd have to be involved with sua or an ambulance/medicine in general to get a kick out of that. There have been some other comments posted and ill post them if I can find the file where I kept the list...:-/
I gotta say, the weather lately has been amazing. Yesterday sunny around 70 degrees cloudless sky, little to no humidity and a very small breeze...Perfect
to make it even better, pancakes for breakfast, gym, followed by drinking on the quad, dinner in Haven and the mall. Life really dosn't get much better than this folks :-)
Thanks to all involved.

yea so the body seems to be breaking on me again...and this time I've been taking good care of it (I promise). This time its not a shoulder/knee/joint injury...I seem to have either done a partial tear in my right trap muscle. Its painful enough that I had to go back onto Flexeril to help the pain. On the upside, I have been sleeping completely through the night for the first time in a long period of time. Bad side, I have to lay off the upper back exercises for a while until the pain goes away...I guess this gives me an excuse to work on my abs with some serious gusto.
have a good weekend kiddies
