I've finally begun to extract images from the capture files from the HoCR Below are some of the more interesting ones. As I slowly go through the huge amount of data I'll post some of the better ones that I come across.

this is essentially what we look for on the computer and we align this nifty line up with the edge of the bowball to tell you exactly what your time is to the thousandth of a second (.001)






The oars don't normally bend the way they do in the pictures (well they do a little bit, just not that much). The effect is due almost entirely to the fact that these are taken with line scanning cameras which means that the camera takes only one row of pixels (aka a very narrow frame) very very quickly and then stitches the 'pictures' together to come up with the images you see above.
