In an effort to branch out to more topics, I give youthe following excerpt frpm Gawker
Former Gucci designer Tom Ford says he went through "sort of a depression" when he left the design house after working there for 14 years. But that's not why he's already designing his own tomb.
Ford is building a mausoleum on his New Mexico estate in which he and his partner, Richard Buckley, plan to spend eternity together.
"We're all going to end up dead," he tells GQ writer Michael Hainey. "So why not have fun with it while you're alive?"
His management strategy at Gucci?
"Five o'clock every day, man, it was cocktail hour. And those cocktail trays came out, trays of vodka tonics, and the whole staff would keep drinking till like 9.
"I drank through the whole thing. Maybe I was a bad boss. I think I was a good boss."
And there you have it. I wonder if my department would consider sponsoring a 'hapy hour'activity. I'm sure it would bring us students and the faculty we love to hate closer together...Faegans perhaps?

Lastly on the Hill, there is Faegans - predominantly a "senior bar" - basically if you're not actually 21, you don't go there. It's nice, drinks are a bit more expensive. They have food (it's also a restaurant). Very chill, more mature atmosphere.
