Ahhhh the blisters of love

I recently stepped things up a notch. Usually I only do about 2km when rowing but recently I’ve begun to slowly push that up to 5km. Occasionally, I hit the mark but usually I miss it (although less frequently now). My hands are nice and calloused now, which I suppose is good so the rowing isn’t hurting as much as it used to.

One of the girls I know who works at a coffee place tried to set me up with her sister who was coming to Syracuse for a week. Two words: Ummmm, NO.

Courses are percolating along more or less as expected, although since one of my professors is in Russia presenting a paper at a conference we have a sub (who sucks) so I’ll not be going to class on Wed, me thinks the gym would be a better waste of my time.

The Ivy is beginning to change color from green to red so I guess fall is coming so ladies and gents its time to get out the wool sweaters before the cold sets in with a vengeance.

Congratulations to Rich for getting engaged to his girlfriend. Best of luck
